At Akistro we are so exited to watch this movie on the big screen… We feel very proud to see how the Akistro product placement on “Magazine Dreams” made the look of the bodybuilders shine on many scenes. We have contributed on dressing Jonathan Majors as the lead on “Magazine Dreams” with our Akistro bodybuilding Posing Trunks, along with some other incredible actors/athletes like Mike O’Hearn — Jonathan plays a bodybuilder and is therefore wearing Akistro posing trunks in multiple scenes throughout “Magazine Dreams”. When Costume Designer Bex Crofton-Atkins contacted us to be part of a movie soon to be  filmed in and around Los Angeles with the contribution of the Akistro products – also a company based in Los Angeles, CA – Bex expressed the feeling that “the world of bodybuilding has not been repressed enough in Hollywood” and that the movie project was “a really unique opportunity to get involved and share the more about this subculture with the rest of the world.” So here we are and it feels great to have contributed… This special project film — “Magazine Dreams” — was very appealing to us and we became the official bodybuilding posing trunks supplier… they had many bodybuilders in the movie and therefore we sourced a large number of Akistro posing trunks during the filming weeks in several trips to Burbank, CA.
