Originally founded as Athleto, the company underwent its first rebrand after recognizing the potential for confusion with an existing, well-known brand. Although the new name Akieistro® addressed the issue, it proved to be challenging for customers to pronounce and remember. To better reflect our mission and ensure accessibility , we rebranded once more--this time to Akistro™, a name that is clear, simple, and aligned with our vision.
Akistro became a prominent product placement in the 2023 movie Magazine Dreams, outfitting the main characters—Jonathan Majors and Mike O'Hearn—in Akistro's iconic SuperTrunks™ bodybuilding posing trunks. .
